Naganiacze — app and website

In a drive hunt, beaters walk in a line through the forest while hunters stand at their stands. Everyone needs to know who is where, because both the effectiveness of the drive and safety depend on it. Until now this was agreed at the briefing, by word of mouth.

Naganiacze is an app for hunting clubs. The leader plans the drive on a map, and participants see each other live. We prepared the app together with the naganiacze.app website, where a club buys a licence and downloads the app.

The app is meant to work in the field: on a satellite map, with large buttons and clear game markers. Each feature answers one question a hunter asks themselves in the forest.

• Live map: participants' positions are visible during an active drive, even when the phone is in a pocket.
• Proximity alert: a notification, sound and vibration when someone enters the warning zone set by the hunter.

• Beater routes: the leader draws lines and spacing in metres, and leaving the route is visible immediately.
• Game with direction: pick the species, take the direction from the phone's compass, and the information goes to the hunters.

Roles and invitations: leader, hunter, beater, stand setter. Joining by code, QR or link.

Apple Watch: compass and a proximity notification on the wrist.

The planner collects the hunts of the whole season in one list, so the club knows what awaits it, and when, in the coming weeks.

The website explains the app in a hunter's language. The Safety, Beaters, Game and Hunt Plan sections each have one promise and a mockup that shows it. Next comes a list of six features with their benefits and a separate section about Apple Watch.

The path ends with a simple offer: an annual club licence paid through Przelewy24, and App Store and Google Play buttons. The app is free in the stores, and the licence is bought on the website.

The layout works equally well on a computer and on a phone, because hunters often check the site from their mobile. Image titles and descriptions are chosen for phrases related to drive hunts, which supports visibility in search.

We made the mobile app interface, marketing mockups and the naganiacze.app website with licence purchase. The app runs on iPhone, Android and Apple Watch.

The result: the leader plans the drive on a map, participants see each other live and get an alert before anyone comes too close. Instead of arrangements by word of mouth, there is one shared map.
